Beaminster Area Eco Group

Tree Planting Campaign

Since March 2019, we have planted over 1500 trees in public green spaces and in private gardens and fields in Beaminster, Broadwindsor, Corscombe, Halstock and East Chelborough. In winter 2020-21, we aim to plant hundreds of trees in a wider group of parishes.

Forest School Teaching

We support the management of gardens and woodlands at Beaminster School; St Mary’s Academy, Beaminster; and Broadwindsor primary school.

Resilience Planning

We are working with Beaminster Town Council to lay the groundwork for a Beaminster Climate and Long-term Resilience Plan.
